Excellent in location in Vienna near museums.

The location was excellent, on a quiet street, close to most city attractions. The pension staff was nice and helpful and almost every request we had was fulfilled. The room was clean and nicely designed and had an air condition, which was rare and so important in hot summer time Vienna. If I ever come back to Vienna, I would definitely come back to pension a und a.

The breakfast lounge was right outside our door, which was a bit noisy sometimes.

Very good location,friendly staff, had our own suit at our disposal,with all the comforts of a good hotel.Will prefer to stay again.

In the late evenings there is no staff to assist you,you are by yourself.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and looked new and very well kept. The location of the pension is superb, beeing close to many of the atractions [ just few minutes walk]. The stuff was very helpful, the breakfast buffet was reach and very satisfying.

The abscence of a Loby ans Dining room. Eating in the room was not too comfortable [though not punishment..]

A little difficult to find. If the closet train station is mentioned then it is very easy to locate. We got down one station earlier and hence was a 15 minute walk else if the correct directions were given it would have been a 3 minute walk

The Pension was right in the centre of Vienna, just off the Graben. The welcome was friendly, the bedroom clean and of a perfectly adequate size, with a high ceiling, the bathroom was fine as well.

In some ways it was a bit impersonal, with one person on the desk from 9 am until around 4.00pm. The breakfast was not wonderful but perfectly adequate.

Perfect location really in the city centre which a lot of shopping area and restaurant and interesting places n historical places.The staff very helpful and Free wifi.

The owners were very friendly, helpful, always ready to please you. The room was of a very good size, the bathroom comfortably modern. The breakfast was good. The situation of the hotel was excellent. Very close to the main shopping and tourist area, Grabenstrasse.

Nothing negative. We loved our stay.

Excellent location, staff very kind, small very pretty hotel

The location is beyond praise – a five-minute walk from Stephansdom will take you to a real historic building: you enter it and see marble wall panels and a magnificent old wooden lift inside the winding stairs! The lift looks like a time machine, it seems that it’ll take you 200 years back, instead you find yourself in the modern environment of Pension U and U. The room and bathroom are spacious and very clean – they are cleaned daily. The design is simple – light colours and minimalism (no ugly pictures on the walls or ostentatious curtains). All the necessary things are available: safe, fridge, kettle, hair-dryer. The breakfast is a buffet which is served in the lobby – you take a tray with food in the room. While booking this hotel I had some doubts about it. I thought it would be inconvenient. However now I can say that I was wrong and it’s perfectly fine – there is a table, 2 chairs and a TV in the room. The breakfast is abundant and tasty though there is no hot food (apart from boiled eggs as there is no kitchen there). The staff is very friendly and helpful. There were no problems with leaving our suitcase at the reception before the check-in (it was in the afternoon and we arrived early in the morning) and after the check-out (it was in the morning but we had an evening flight).

There are no channels in Russian and only 1 channel in English (CNN). We are used to watching the news at breakfast and just 1 channel left no choice. The paint on the bottom of the bathroom door peeled off – it just strikes your eye because everything else is almost perfect.

The location was excellent. The staff very polite and ever helpful. We had a room looking into a lightwell so although we didn't have much of a view, it was very quiet and we slept very well. The room itself was clean and well appointed. The breakfast consisted of the usual selection of juices and hot beverages with cold meats, cereal, yoghurts etc and was ample. Had a wonderful stay and would recommend it highly.

My only gripe was that after our room was cleaned after our first night there, flecks of black stuff (not sure what they were) were left in the shower. Not very pleasant at first glance but didn't cause any problems.
